Women’s network strives for better conditions in the Austrian transport and logistics industry

DamenLogistikClub (DLC) is now an association

The DamenLogistikClub (DLC) (“ladies’ logistics club”) was founded in autumn 2014 by Romana Steko-Papousek, who holds a degree in business administration. More than 120 Austrian decision-makers from the transport and logistics industry, as well as logistics managers from industry and commerce and the responsible leaders from bmvit (Austrian Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology), the Chamber of Commerce and Logistics Associations, are among the members. The aim of the DLC is to strengthen the women’s network and to improve the framework conditions in the transport and logistics sector as well as the cooperation between the various modes of transport.

From the start of the club, the Ladies Logistics Club (DLC) expects an even better platform for exchange and networking among all members. In addition, it focuses on the promotion of young and experienced female logisticians.

In the future, all members can present themselves on the homepage of the DamenLogistikClub, which is currently under construction, or introduce themselves and participate in one of the organised events. Further information is available on the Facebook page @DamenLogistikClub.

The four ladies from the board of the newly founded association DamenLogistikClub are:

-) Doris Pulker-Rohrhofer, Technical Manager Hafen Wien

-) Romana Steko-Papousek, Managing Director Steko-Trans

-) Christine Reiterer, Managing Director QuintLog e.U.

-) Beate Färber-Venz, Managing Director Venz Logistik
