L'Oreal charges Schenker with national distribution in Slovakia

The L'Oreal cosmetics group transferred the task of country-wide distribution of its products in Slovakia to a new partner. Since recently Schenker Slovakia is in charge of this activity. "In Bratislava we organise national distribution of pallets and parcel consignments within 24 hours. The general cargo volume amounts to approximately 11,000 pallets annually", managing director Alfred Wolfram outlines the task.
Schenker Slovakia acts with 85 employees as a full service provider in the forwarding-, transportation and logistics segments. The core activity is the European land transport and all associated service concepts. The network in Slovakia comprises sites in Bratislava, Trnava, Zilina, Kosice and Zvolen. The latter named location serves as a hub for the nationwide 24-hours distribution logistics for parcel goods, which was started at the beginning of this year. In addition to L'Oreal also Nike, the sporting goods brand, and the paper-wholesaler Europapier are profiting from this service line.
