Shanghai Hengjin Logistics - the new partner of Customs agency Porath

Since the beginning of November the customs broker Porath Customs Agents, headquartered in Hamburg, has been cooperating with a partner in China for the first time. Shanghai Hengjin Logistics Co. Ltd., based in the free trade zone Waigaoqiao at the Port of Shanghai, is a neutral agency that is specialising in customs clearance. The enterprise attends to about 200 reputable customers and offers services in a national partner network throughout China.
"We offer customs services for importations and exportations from and to China from one source to our customers.", as Carsten Porath stated the reasons for the cooperation. According to him, the partnership is of particular interest to all exporters who deliver their goods "duty paid, to the door" to recipients in China. The Chinese partner Shanghai Hengjin Logistics is handling the importations for them.
Porath Customs Agents was established in 1985 in Hamburg and now counts among the leading German customs agencies, with an annual turnover of EUR 2.1 million. The enterprise employs 31 persons in total at the headquarters at the "Freihafen" Hamburg, the location in Bremerhaven and at the airport Frankfurt/Main.
